I have been there. As a new mom, I was met with mental health and relational challenges. After experiencing essential healing in perinatal mental health therapy, I am passionate about bringing that same resource to others. I want you to know that you are not alone and you are not at fault. Difficulties with perinatal depression and anxiety have been identified in women of every culture, age, income level, and ethnicity (Postpartum Support International, 2015).
When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy reading, drinking coffee, spin and barre classes, trying new foods, and spending quality time with my husband and daughter. I greatly value professional development and continual learning, so I am often reading books about perinatal mental health, couples therapy, or individual mental health.
